What we do
Guttering and roofing services
Summerland is a licensed guttering and roofing contractor covering Lismore, Ballina, Byron Bay, Casino and the villages between them. Most of our work is continuous gutter replacement, and the rest keeps the same roofline healthy: gutter guard, fascia, tile to tin conversions, restoration and repairs.

Australian coil, COLORBOND colours, nothing imported.

Local reputation
Highly rated across the Northern Rivers
4.6 stars on Google
That number was earned one roofline at a time, on jobs where the owner stood in the driveway and watched the gutter come off the machine. No ad campaign, no bought reviews, just decades of finished work from Casino to the coast. The written quotes, the photo records and the flush test at handover are why the rating holds.

On-site roll-forming
What continuous guttering actually means
Sectional guttering comes in fixed lengths that get joined, riveted and sealed every few metres. Every join is a future leak. Continuous guttering is different: we bring the roll-forming machine to your home and feed flat BlueScope coil through it until the gutter is exactly as long as the run needs, whether that is four metres or twenty.
- No mid-run joins. Corners and outlets are the only fabricated points, so there is almost nowhere for water to find a way out.
- Measured against your roof, not a catalogue. The machine is calibrated on the day to your actual fascia line.
- COLORBOND colour range. Matched to your roof, fascia or trim from the standard palette.
- Old gutters carted away. We strip, dispose and leave the site clean.

How it works
From phone call to flush test in four steps
Measure and quote
We visit, walk the roofline, check falls and downpipes, and give you a written quote. No obligation.
Colour and profile
Pick from the COLORBOND range and the profile that suits the house. We confirm everything before ordering coil.
Roll on site
The machine sets up in your driveway and forms each run to length. Old guttering comes down the same day.
Hang, test, clean up
New brackets, correct fall, downpipes connected, then we run water through and tidy the site before we leave.
Continuous vs sectional
Why fewer joins beat cheaper metres
Both options move water off your roof on day one. The difference shows up in year five, when the sealant in every sectional join has been through a few thousand wet-dry cycles.
| Continuous (what we roll) | Sectional (off the shelf) | |
|---|---|---|
| Joins along a run | None. One piece per run | Every 3 to 6 metres |
| Leak points | Corners and outlets only | Each join, rivet and seal |
| Fit to the house | Rolled to the exact millimetre | Cut down or padded out |
| Look along the fascia | One clean line | Visible joiner straps |
| Long-term maintenance | Clean and inspect | Reseal joins as they age |
