Summerland Continuous Guttering is a South Lismore workshop, a mobile roll-forming machine and a crew that has spent more than 45 years learning what Northern Rivers weather does to a roofline.
The short version of a long story
The business started in 1979, when continuous guttering was a novelty and most of the district was still joining short lengths on ladders. The bet was that homeowners would prefer gutters made to measure over gutters made to average, and the bet paid off across four decades of rooflines from Casino to the coast.
The gear has been renewed many times since then and the colour range has grown past anything the seventies imagined, but the working method has not moved: measure the actual house, roll the steel at the actual house, hang it straight, test it with water, sweep up, leave.
Who turns up
You deal with the people who do the work. Rodrigo Marques runs the operation and is the name on the business card; ring the office on (02) 5658 5693 and the conversation is with someone who was on a roof that morning. We quote our own jobs, so nothing gets promised by a salesperson that the installer has to walk back later.
Four decades of the same weather
Longevity in this trade is not a marketing line, it is a dataset. We have watched which fixings seize on the coast, which profiles shrug off camphor laurel litter, which fascia details fail first on west-facing walls, and what the big wets of past decades did to under-sized systems. Every one of those observations is baked into how we quote a job today. A newer outfit can buy the same machine; the pattern library takes the decades.
The name comes off the map
Summerland is not a branding exercise, it is what this corner of the state has long been called. The Summerland Way runs up through Casino toward the border, and local institutions from credit unions to farm co-ops have carried the word for generations. A business named for the region tends to act like it belongs to it, which is the point.

- Licensed and insured. NSW builder licence 450036C, with insurance current and certificates available on request.
- Trained for the height. Working at Heights and White Card certified crew.
- Compliant work. Australian Standards, National Construction Code and EPA requirements, including proper disposal of the old steel.
- Australian steel. BlueScope coil, 0.42 BMT, COLORBOND colour range, every job.
- Written quotes. Itemised, fixed and free. The handshake is for after the flush test.

Measured, then made
The coil is not cut until the machine has been calibrated against your fascia. Stock lengths force compromises; we just do not have any stock lengths.
Workshop on wheels
The 35 Casino St base is where the coil lives. The forming happens at your place, which is the only place the measurements are true.
Local accountability
We shop where you shop. Work that has our name on it stays visible to us for decades, and we quote like people who will drive past it.
