Tank water starts at the gutter

On rural blocks around Casino the guttering is not just weather protection, it is catchment infrastructure. Every leaf that rots in the run and every flake of old rust ends up in the first-flush diverter, and eventually the tank. New continuous guttering with mesh over the top is the upgrade that makes the whole water system cleaner, and it is the package rural customers ask for most. We set falls to move water to the tank inlets efficiently and fit guard that keeps the catchment surface clear.

Sheds, spans and long runs

Farm sheds carry some of the longest single gutter runs we roll, and continuous forming is at its best on exactly those jobs. A twenty-metre machinery shed gets one piece per side, no joins to fail over the hay or the header. Steel and fixings are specified for the job the shed does, and we work in around loading, stock and machinery movements without fuss.

In town

Casino's weatherboard and brick streets, from the river up through the hospital hill, are classic regutter territory: original steel that has done forty years, fascia that needs attention at the corners, and owners who want it done once and done properly. Coraki, Kyogle, Bentley and the villages along the Bruxner all fold into the same runs.

Inland conditions, inland wear

Away from the coast the enemy changes. Salt gives way to heat, dust and the violent afternoon storm cells that roll off the ranges in summer. Paint fade runs faster on the western faces, dry-season leaf litter turns to tinder in the gutters, and hail features in more insurance quotes out here than anywhere else we work.
