One region, one machine, four bases of operation
Everything we roll starts at the South Lismore workshop and finishes in a driveway somewhere between the ranges and the sea.
The map in words
Where the ute goes
Postcodes do not decide our runs, geography does. If you are on the Richmond, the Wilsons or the coast strip that joins them, you are local to us. These four pages cover the main centres and name the villages we fold into each run.
Between those centres sit Alstonville, Wollongbar, Clunes, Bexhill, Dunoon, Bangalow, Coraki and a few dozen smaller places we visit without a second thought. If your town is not named, ring (02) 5658 5693 and ask; the answer is nearly always yes.
Seen from a gutter's point of view, the region splits into climates rather than councils. The coast strip trades in salt, the floodplain towns in silt and sudden volume, the hinterland in leaf load, and the western flats in heat and hail. Each of the four pages above goes into what that means for the steel on your particular patch, because the right specification in Lennox Head is overkill in Kyogle and the reverse mistake costs more.
How the travelling works
Runs, not one-offs
Grouped by direction
The week gets carved into directional runs so the machine spends its hours forming gutters instead of commuting. A coastal day might take in a Lennox measure, a Ballina install and a Wardell quote on the way home. For you that means the travel component of any quote stays small, because you are sharing the kilometres with the rest of the run.
Distance priced in daylight
Jobs beyond the main centres carry their travel openly as a line on the quote rather than smeared invisibly across the total. Owners in Bonalbo or Whiporie can see precisely what remoteness costs, which is usually less than they braced for and never a reason to self-exclude before asking.
Weather moves the calendar
Hanging gutters in steady rain helps nobody, so a booked day that meets a rain band slides, and the office rings before the crew would have left. A region-wide book has one advantage there: the run can pivot toward whichever end of the district has the clearest sky.
Your driveway is the factory floor
Wherever you are in the Northern Rivers, the gutter is rolled at your place and fitted the same day it is formed.
